Children from across our area are being encouraged to create pictures of buildings in the area which covers the Market Place and Leeming Street of Mansfield town centre.  This is a Mansfield Revived Children's Art Competition and is part of Mansfield Townscape Heritage Project supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Mansfield District Council.  The closing date for entries is Friday 17 July 2020.

All the pictures will be displayed in the 'Mansfield Revived' online gallery and there will be prizes for the best ones! Smyth’s Toys gift vouchers for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd best entries

Some of the buildings in Mansfield town centre are looking a bit tired and sad. Over the next few years the Mansfield Townscape Heritage Project will be smartening them up. In the meantime, you can help us imagine what they might look like when they are finished by choosing one of the buildings and drawing or painting a picture of it.

It may not be safe to go into town yet, so we want you to use Google Street View to have a good look at all of them and pick your favourite.
